These Terms govern everyone who uses learnin1rs.in — whether you’re a Viewer paying to unlock a subject expert’s notes for the day, or an Expert publishing your own PDFs, audio, video, and question papers to earn from them. Please read this in full before you register or make a payment.

1.Introduction & acceptance

learnin1rs.in (“Platform“, “we“, “us“) connects subject-matter experts (“Experts“) who publish study material with learners (“Viewers“) who pay a small fee for time-limited access to that material. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms“) apply to anyone who browses, registers, uploads content, or makes a payment on the Platform.

By creating an account, publishing Content, or paying for access, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2.Definitions

“Content” means any PDF notes, audio recordings, video lectures, question papers (QPs), or other material uploaded by an Expert.
“Access Fee” means the amount — starting at ₹1 for 24-hour access — that a Viewer pays to unlock an Expert’s Content, as shown at checkout.
“Earnings” means the total Access Fees collected against a given Expert’s Content in a calendar month, before the deductions described in Section 6.
“Expert” / “Contributor” means a registered user approved to upload and monetise Content.
“Viewer” / “Learner” means a registered user who pays to access Content.

3.Eligibility & registration

You must provide accurate, current information when registering, and keep your login credentials confidential. You’re responsible for all activity under your account.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to and accept these Terms on your behalf before you use the Platform.
One account per person. We may ask for identity or payout details (see Section 6) before enabling Expert features.
Tell us immediately at our support address if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4.Viewer access & the ₹1/day model

Each Expert’s page or subject displays an Access Fee (from ₹1 upward, depending on the Expert and Content). Paying that fee unlocks the associated Content for 24 hours from the time of successful payment, unless a different duration is shown at checkout.

Access is for streaming or viewing within the Platform only. Downloading, screen-recording, printing, copying, or sharing Content outside the Platform is not allowed, unless the Expert has explicitly enabled a download option for that specific item.
When the 24-hour window ends, access ends automatically. A fresh payment is needed to view the same Content again.
The Access Fee applies per Expert’s page. Viewing Content from multiple Experts requires separate payments, unless a bundled plan is offered.
Content reflects the individual Expert’s own preparation, opinions, and teaching style. We do not review every upload for accuracy and do not guarantee exam relevance or results.

5.Expert registration & uploads

Expert accounts may go through a verification step before they’re allowed to publish paid Content.
By uploading, you confirm that you own the Content or have the rights needed to publish it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of everything you upload, including keeping question papers and notes correctly labelled (subject, year, source).
You may mark some Content as a free preview and keep the rest behind the Access Fee.
We may review, restrict, unpublish, or remove any Content that breaches these Terms or applicable law, and may do so without prior notice where necessary — for example, in response to a copyright complaint.

6.Revenue sharing & payouts

How your earnings are split

For every Access Fee a Viewer pays to unlock your Content, the Platform retains a commission and you keep the rest.

40%retained by the Platform

Earnings are calculated on a calendar-month basis (the 1st to the last day of each month).
Payout of the previous month’s Earnings is processed within [7–10 working days] after month-end, to the bank account or UPI ID registered on your Expert profile.
A minimum payout threshold of [₹___] applies. If your Earnings for the month fall below this, they roll over and are paid out with the following month’s amount.
Valid KYC, PAN, and payout details must be on file; payouts may be delayed until these are complete.
Amounts linked to refunded, disputed, or fraudulent transactions are deducted from Earnings for the relevant period. We may withhold or adjust a payout while investigating suspected fraud or a policy breach.
Payouts are subject to applicable TDS and GST under Indian law. We may deduct TDS where required and will issue the relevant statement/certificate. You remain responsible for your own income tax and GST compliance as an Expert earning through the Platform — we’d recommend checking your specific obligations with a chartered accountant.

7.Content ownership & licence

Experts keep ownership of the intellectual property in their Content.
By uploading, an Expert grants the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, stream, display, and reproduce the Content (including for backups and delivery) so it can be shown to paying Viewers, for as long as it stays listed.
A Viewer who pays the Access Fee receives a limited, non-transferable licence to view that Content, for personal and non-commercial study use, only during the paid access window.

8.Prohibited content & conduct

You may not upload, share, or use the Platform to:

Publish material you don’t have the rights to — including pirated textbook scans, leaked or unlawfully obtained question papers or answer keys, or another creator’s notes.
Post obscene, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise unlawful content, or malware.
Make misleading claims, such as guaranteeing exam results or ranks.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.
Redistribute paid Content outside the Platform, or use bots, scrapers, or scripts to access Content or bypass payment.

Breach of this section can lead to Content removal, forfeiture of related Earnings, and suspension or termination of your account.

9.Copyright & IP complaints

If you believe Content on the Platform infringes your copyright or other rights, write to our Grievance Officer with details of the work, the infringing listing, and proof of your rights. We’ll investigate and remove infringing Content where warranted, and may suspend accounts with repeated, verified infringements.

10.Payments, refunds & cancellations

Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card details.
Given the nominal Access Fee and the fact that access is granted immediately, fees are generally non-refundable once access has been unlocked, except where required by law.
If money is debited but access is not granted due to a technical failure, contact support within [48 hours]; we’ll refund the amount or restore access within [5 working days].

11.Availability & no guarantee

The Platform is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee uninterrupted uptime, that every upload is error-free, or any particular exam outcome. Content represents the individual Expert’s own work and views, not endorsement by the Platform.

12.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its officers and employees are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the accuracy of Expert-uploaded Content. Our total liability for any claim relating to a transaction is capped at the amount actually paid for that transaction in the preceding three months.

13.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless against claims, losses, or expenses arising from your Content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms.

14.Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate any account for breach of these Terms, fraud, or repeated verified complaints, and may act immediately where needed to protect other users. An Expert forfeits Earnings tied to confirmed fraudulent activity. On termination, legitimate Earnings accrued up to that point are still settled on the normal payout schedule described in Section 6.

15.Privacy

Our separate Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how payment data is handled by our gateway partner, and how we use cookies. By using the Platform, you also agree to that Policy.

16.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a notice on the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.

17.Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City, Karnataka] have exclusive jurisdiction. We encourage you to first reach out to our support team so we can try to resolve any issue informally.

18.Grievance officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of our Grievance Officer are below. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
